Buenos Aires, Jan 5 (NA) -- Adrián Suar attended a performance of "The Dinner of the Fools" in Mar del Plata, congratulated the cast on the play's success, and had an awkward exchange with Martín Bossi, in which he recalled an anecdote from the comedian's early days and publicly apologized. According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), via the show "Intrusos", as the curtain was about to close, Bossi took the microphone and invited the producer to the stage with a presentation full of irony and humor, which drew laughter from the audience. "I want to apologize to Martín. Do you remember?" Suar continued with the anecdote and recounted that years later, Bossi approached him with the intention of starring in "The Dinner of the Fools": "Guillermo Francella wanted to, the one who didn't want to was me. When he was very young, he wanted to work at Pol-ka and I didn't give him the time of day," he admitted. He then explained that Bossi had participated in some episodes of one of his shows and recalled, amidst laughter: "He came to do four episodes... and he ruined them. I used to say: 'Martin is not going to be able to pull it off,'" he acknowledged. "Years passed, they did "The Dinner of the Fools" and today I tell you: you killed it, Martin," concluded the producer, sealing the moment with a strong round of applause. As he left the theater, Suar spoke to the press and downplayed any reading of a conflict: "It's a joke that we both make," he clarified. Finally, he was consulted about past statements by Araceli González, the producer was succinct: "That was last year, I am already thinking about 2026."
